1. What this page covers
This explains what we store in your browser when you visit DreamyTravelGuide.com, and the choice you make in the cookie banner shown on your first visit. It complements our Privacy Policy.
2. Necessary storage (always on)
We save your cookie choice itself in your browser's local storage (not a tracking cookie) so we don't ask you again on every page. This is strictly necessary for the site to remember your preference and doesn't require consent under GDPR.

3. Analytics cookies
We use Google Tag Manager (container ID GTM-TJMH62MJ) to load Google Analytics and similar tools. The Tag Manager container script itself always loads so it can register your choice, and it runs in Google'sConsent Mode, which applies a different default depending on the country you're visiting from (determined by Google from your IP address):
- EU/EEA, United Kingdom and Switzerland: analytics cookies are blocked until you click "Accept all." Before that, only limited, cookieless signals are sent — no analytics cookies, and no data tied to you.
- Everywhere else: analytics cookies are on by default. You can turn them off at any time by clicking "Reject non-essential" in the banner or the "Cookie preferences" link in the footer.
In every country, an explicit choice always wins: "Reject non-essential" keeps analytics blocked and "Accept all" allows it. Advertising-related storage is off by default everywhere and only turns on if you click "Accept all."

The exact cookies set depend on which tools are configured inside Google Tag Manager at any given time — this table reflects Google Analytics' standard cookies as a reference, since that's the most likely tool we'll use.
4. Audience-growth cookies (Grow.me / Mediavine)
We use the Grow.me "faves" widget, provided by Mediavine, to show a follow/save prompt and recommend related content across sites that use the same widget. Unlike our analytics tools, Grow.me is installed the way Mediavine specifies and loads on every visit — Mediavine manages consent for personalized matching on their own end, through their account sign-up flow and their own privacy practices, rather than through our banner.
